Service Description
This 3-class in person series will allow individuals to learn in a steady progress to obtain the information learned and build relationships with others on this journey into parenthood. Our classes are designed with a good balance of learning through lectures, hands on practice, games, group activities, discussions and worksheets. We extend non-bias information through evidence base research and compassionate care, to help you feel confident on this journey into parenthood. Topics Include: • Anatomy of Pregnancy • Physiological birth and trusting your body • Comfort techniques and tools • Positions for labor and birth • Developing a healthy mindset about "pain" • Ways your birthing partner can support • Labor Scenarios for practice • Shared decision-making • Postpartum Planning

The information taught in these classes is evidenced-based. It is not intended to take the place of your care provider’s medical advice and/or protocol. If information given conflicts with your care provider’s information, it is our recommendation that you research further in order to make an informed decision about your care and consult with your care provider. Refunds & Cancellations In the event of illness or injury on the part of the instructor, severe weather or birth, the class will be rescheduled as soon as possible. If you cannot attend a class and need a make-up session, please contact us as soon as possible. A pre recorded session or online make up class can be provided, based on instructor's availability. Refunds are not given for missed classes.
